Dear Sir, I have received defective refrigerator from whirlpool which has multiple problems within 6 months. I already complained many times on customer care but no solution yet. I bought the double door whirlpool refrigerator from Chroma, Ahmedabad on protectedth Feb. At the time of installation, we observed that some weird sound was coming from the refrigerator. We talked with the engineer who came for the installation and he had just ignored us. On end of July protected, we found some issues in the refrigerator, so I filed a complained on 3rd Aug protected via customer care. Customer care told us that service engineer would visit in two days. Service engineer came after 3 days and confirmed that the refrigerator has the compressor problem(Company gives protected years warranty and it stops working in a few months). The technician said someone from the service centre will come in 2 days and fic the issue. We agreed to make it repair. I waited for the 5 days but no one came and called me, I called customer care on 6th and 7th Aug but still no technician visit and repair done. At last, on protectedth Aug, a person came from the service centre and replaced the compressor. After the compressor replacement, we found that the refrigerator had more problems. There was an oil leakage, had a cooling problem and had weird sound. On protectedth Aug protected, I called the service centre and filled another complaint about the above problems. This time I requested the service centre to replace the defective refrigerator. I waited for about a week, but no once came. I called the service centre for the followup but not received a satisfactory reply. They said to wait for a few days. Finally, after a few days, the engineer came and analyzed. We tried to explain the problems but he was not listening to us. He said, I forwarded the report and mentioned all the problems but I doubt he hadn't. He was just ignoring us and not listening. He said you will receive a call from the company about your concerns. I waited for 6 days and I called the service centre for followup on protectedth Aug protected. The customer representative was just saying you would get a technician visit even though I said that the technician already visited. Upon some arguments finally, he gave me a technician number. I called the technician, he was the same person who has visited previously. Instead of giving me the status, he just dropped my call just saying he would contact the whirlpool. I called again but now he was not picking up my call. After a week, I got a call from the service station and she was asking me when the technician can come to repair the product. I said I had complained for the replacement, not for the repair. She said, I would send your concerns to the company and dropped the call. I waited another week and called the customer care, This time I was surprized that without my knowledge my complain was closed. How you can close the complain without customer confirmation. Upon argument, customer representative gave me a contact number of the area manager named Amolji. I called several times but he is not picking up my call. Now, this is the dead end, customer suffering as not one from customer care, company or service centre is taking responsibility.
