I had purchased a product (WD Elements 1TB USB 3.0 Portable External Hard Drive - Black) from Amazon.in in August protected. Now the product's connector has popped out and I am no longer able to connect it. The product itself has 3 year manufacturer warranty but when I contacted the product's company (WD Elements) they said that the product belongs to China region and it can't be registered in India hence they are not liable to honour the guarantee and they asked me to contact the seller of the product i.e. Amazon.in. When I contacted the seller on 4th Jan and since then I have always been told that the issue will be resolved in next protected days (through mail or telephonically) - till now the issue has not been addressed and I am still being harrassed in the name of customer support as I am getting no positive information about my issue. It has left me frustrated and dejected to see such a poor response for a product for which I have paid in full.
