I have a post paid mobile number of Idea. (protected). In the month of March, I have paid the bill amount of Rs. protected.protected online using my HDFC account on March protected, protected (Txn ID/ Ref No: protected). The pay-by date was March protected, protected. Even after the payment, from March protected, protected, my calls have been barred by idea, with a reason that the bill is not paid. When I raised the complaint through email, I was told that the amount is not reflected in their system. They also asked me to send the bank statement to prove that the amount has not come back to my account. I sent the same, but, have not received any satisfactory reply. The phone is still not working. When I discussed with customer care, I was told that since the amount is not reflected, my number is barred. My question is if their system is not updated, am I responsible for it? Due to non-working of the phone, I am facing problem as I am unable to complete my official tasks. I also need compensation from the company for the harassment done by them even after paying the bill in time and also for the losses due to lack of official contact.
