"I am writing this as a proof and narration of what happened with me, and what inconsistencies and terrible experience I faced with your customer service. I placed an order on the 8th of May with the order ID of NYK-protected which I tried to cancel within 5/6 hours through the app. However, after chatting with the cyberbot/Nykaa agent on the app, I was informed that I can only cancel the order while delivery. I was fine with that and when the order arrived, I asked the delivery person to take back the first shipment. I would have done the same with the other two shipments as well. However, I got a call that day from someone who said they were calling from Nykaa and wanted to confirm whether I had cancelled the order and I confirmed. I also mentioned that I won’t be able to take the other shipments and asked them to cancel it and they said that they will do that. So even though I had planned to refuse all delivery attempts from my end, when I got this confirmation from supposedly the call center of Nykaa, I thought my issue had been resolved. There was no mention of it from the Nykaa personnel that in spite of my request he shall be unable to cancel my other shipments and they will attempt delivery, wherein i shall have to cancel it. Without that information, I was kept in the dark and hence, I thought there will not be any other attempt. So, on I guess the protectedth, I got a call from a person that I have a package. Now, I had received a message from Amazon that one of my daily essentials packages were arriving. I GOT NO MESSAGES FROM NYKAA ABOUT A DELIVERY!! There was no intimation from Nykaa's end and I was not made known about any delivery in any way. Even the delivery person did not mention that it was from Nykaa. He just mentioned I had a parcel and since I was not expecting a parcel from Nykaa, I assumed it was from Amazon, which is only the logical thing to assume. I returned to my place from another city and was on home quarantine for protected days, which I had mentioned as the reason in the previous call as to why I cannot take the packages. When the delivery person came, I asked a neighbour's kid to take the parcel. HE did, and later on I realized it was from Nykaa. Since then I have been trying to call Nykaa, and have talked to several customer agents, waited from over two hours on the chat space where three/four agents have bandoned the conversations mid-way and finally when I got a call from a senior agents after repeated requests to be connected to them or called back by them, after waiting for over 6 days for a call, and making several calls from my end, the senior customer service agent kept on saying 'you should have not taken the parcel' repeatedly, in spite of me constantly telling him that the was not possible. Now, I am a students. Times are difficult and I have never been so terribly disappointed by Nykaa. I do not have the kind of money where I can spend protected bucks without any qualms. I placed the order, tried to cancel it within 5/6 hours, refused two of those three shipments when informed that cancellation can only happen at delivery attempts, and would have refused the third one with the lipsticks as well. I had made up my mind, I'll do that. However: 1. Nykaa (here I would like to mention, in the last phone call I was told by the ‘senior’ agent that I actually got a call from the delivery partner of Nykaa and not Nykaa itself, where I would like to mention that I am not supposed to know that as a normal customer. When someone tells me they're calling from Nykka, I believe it that they are calling from Nykaa) informed me that the order will be cancelled. 2. Neither Nykaa nor the delivery partner send me any text message or email and I was not informed in any way about the second delivery. 3. The delivery person also did not mention that it was from Nykaa. So what I don't understand is that why is Nykaa (or the senior agent from Nykaa) pretending to not understand the logic here? I got a confirmation that it will be cancelled. I got no information about an attempt of delivery beforehand. I was not informed that a Nykaa parcel is being attempted the delivery of by the person who came to deliver. So how in the world will I know that it is from Nykaa? When I ask someone to take the parcel, I will not feel the need to mention that it is from Nykaa, because I am not even expecting a package from Nykaa. He kept on repeating that you should have looked at the package and returned it immediately. But delivery people come by bikes, mostly. They do not wait around for the people to look at a package, assess it and then return it. They did not even request a sign in exchange of the package. After so many calls, where I was positive in the beginning, I have come to expect the worst from Nykaa now. I am not writing this and hoping you will take any steps to redeem the situation that you have pushed me into, in spite of being a student and almost neglected to the point of harassment. However, if I do not get a resolution, I will take whatever steps are possible in my power to ensure people know about this and complain in whatever sites necessary. I would have not done something so drastic, but pinning the fault on me and taking no account of the incompetence on Nykaa's part is too much. I have been very patient and have called however many times required for the resolution or some humility on your end. Since that has not happened even a little bit, I shall take whatever steps necessary if a resolution of the issue is not meted out to me." I wish that my consumer complaint will get resolved soon.
