I bought 2 boxes of 6-month contact lenses (Rs.protected each) + 1 lens solution (Rs.protected) from Lenskart. Product Value - Rs.protected (protected+protected+protected) + Tax - Rs. protected Total - protected Payments made: Paid by LKCash offer: Rs. protected Paid through netbanking - Rs.protected The lens boxes delivered were 3 year old and expiring within usage period. I requested exchange/refund. Lenskart initially only refunded me Rs.protected as store credit claiming they had only received 1 box, which itself should have been Re. protected (without tax). After days of calls, they mentioned there has been a mismatch between their logistics partner and warehouse, in terms of receiving the product. 1. After protected+ days Lenskart now offers to give me store credit of Rs.protected. The total value of items returned is Rs. protected (protected+protected) Lenskart claims that Rs. protected is the return excluding the cost of lens solution (Rs.protected) and any taxes levied on lens solution. However, I also paid tax of products of significantly higher value (Rs. protected) than Rs. protected. If Lenskart wants to charge me for tax on the item kept (protected+tax), they should also refund the tax amount + original value of the returned products (protected+tax). 2. Lenskart has offered only store credit and not actual refund. However they don't have the product I need in stock (-2.0 power contact lenses). Considering it is a medical product, I cannot buy something else, so store credit is of no value.
