Excess Oil Consumption Of My Toyota Etios Vehicle

Regarding The Product , Service Provider By Company Outlet By Keeping The Customer In Fraud And Harr

File a complaint

Sub: - Excess Oil consumption of my Toyota Etios vehicle. Ref: - My Vehicle registration no. KL protected BT protected Engine no. 1ND-protected and VIN - MBJBprotectedBTprotected Sir, I AM WRITING THIS LETTER WITH EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT, I bought the above mentioned vehicle for my father in April protected, for taxi service purpose. We have noticed severe oil consumption in the vehicle from its second service onwards. When we checked the oil level it was very below the lower dot mark. When we approached service center people they just top up the oil level and returned us saying vehicle is under their observation, this process repeated 3 – 4 times and on every protected kms we noticed tremendous decrease in oil level, on last March we approached dealership for the status of my complaint they gave me a letter saying nothing wrong with our vehicle and oil consumption is due to engine run time and driving style of the driver etc., and for the issue their solution was periodical service on every protected kms referring owner’s manual, ( the letter is attached herewith for your scrutiny). The interesting thing is, they also don't know the way, the oil disappears from the engine. Since the service warranty is only up to protected km, we are very much worried about the engine condition after the warranty period. If something happened to the engine the dealer will not consider it as a manufacturing defect. The funny part is that the dealership is not having the courage to issue us a letter saying there won’t be any problem to the engine for another 2 or 3 lakh kms. We have 4 cars in our household none of them have is oil consumption issue, out of this one is a protected years old AMBASSADOR car this is just for you to know how much care we are giving to our vehicles, so we believe it is not a driving style issue. So our point is if it is normal it should be same for every etios vehicles, unfortunately, another vehicle owned by a friend of us not have this problem (you can refer the service records of the vehicle KL-protected-BW-protected). We bought Toyota Etios attracted by low maintenance cost and high mileage offered by the company, so after the first service we came to know that for getting high mileage we have to run the vehicle on a speed of protected km/hr at 5th gear constantly and oil consumption issue noticed from second service onwards, now we have a feeling that “The Toyota company” is just cheated us by hiding this issue and trying to convince us by saying everything is normal. Let me conclude, it will be great if you can solve this oil consumption issue by RE-FIXING THE PISTON RING ALIGNMENT. Thanking you and anticipating a quick and positive response from your end.
