Hello Madam/Sir, I had recently opted M/s VRL Express Packers and Movers Pune( a unit of Vikas road lines) to transport my 2 wheeler from Pune to Jeypore (Odisha) but the VRL EPM employee said that it was not possible to deliver at Jeypore(odisha) but it is possible if i could collect it from any known city nearby to Jeypore. So, i said that vizianagaram is one of the city which is not nearby but around 200 kms from my place but i also stated that i will manage to take my bike 200 kms and then i booked the packing and shipping to vizianagaram on 22nd March 18 with a promise of 7 days delivery. VRL EPM guys picked up the bike from my residence in Pune and drove away to their go-down on 22nd Mar 18, the packing and shipping was done on 26th March 18 with a travel insurance from “CHOLA MS General Insurance” (I have the copy of insurance papers), which was informed to me through whatsapp. It was ok as i was receiving the tracking details through whatsapp from VRL EPM. On 5th April i got a confirmation from VRL EPM Employee that the bike is at some "Asian Access Associates ,Vizianagaram" and i can collect it, so looking at that i sent my person to collect the bike on 6th April 18, it was already 15 days from date of booking and i was cool in not getting angry or asking VRL EPM offices the reason of late service. I could see that the shipment has been done by Blue dart an not by VRL( i was amused as the person spoke to me earlier said that the logistics is been done by VRL a big name in logistics). But the frustration started here when my person reached Vizianagram to collect my bike only to hear that the bike is not been delivered yet and will take more 3 days, then i called VRL EPM offices and asked them that how could they have given me a delivered confirmation without the delivery? but VRL EPM person said me that i shall tell my people to stay for one night at Vizianagarm as he assured me that the bike was gonna deliver on the next morning. so i requested my person to stay in Vizianagaram for that night. The next morning i again called VRL EPM offices repeatedly (20 to 30 times) but no one answered my call till the evening 6 PM only to say that the delivery was not possible for more 2 days don't you think what can be more frustrating then this as i paid hotel, traveling and day expenses for the person came for collecting my bike which was undelivered. Now, i got confirmation on 9th April that the bike was delivered so again i sent my person to collect my bike. But, as he opened the packing and saw that the bike was in an utter damaged condition and was unmovable, i called again to the VRL EPM offices to say this but their irresponsible guys said me that they have sent the damaged pics to the concerned person and provided me a phone number who doesn't pick up the call any time. I had called them again and again dropped an email but today they piked up my called and said that i need to wait for the insurance guys for a survey which do not have a date and i need to keep my bike in that damaged condition until the survey( is this any kind of joke?) and from now i should not call them and call the insurance guys only. What shall i do now?? who will pay my damages(just check the list below) I don’t know how the transport was done but the bike was in unmovable condition (M/s VRL guys picked up the bike from my residence in Pune in a good condition without any scratches) We somehow managed to take to nearby TVS show room and he listed out the external damages occurred only during the travel: 1) Front Doom is damaged 2) Front Brake Disk damaged 3) Back pinion rider hand support damaged 4) Back night lamp missing 5) Bike Tank was totally with scratches and bumps Now, I would like to request you to help me claiming my damage expenditure. 5th April To and fro charges for 2 persons - 300 * 4 = 1200 Rs/- lodging 5th April - 700 * 1 = 700 Rs/- Bike transport for repairing - 1200 Rs/- Bike repair i don't know till now as half of the part are unavailable.
